Terms of Use
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Voltora website or apps (“Voltora”), operated by Voltora Contract Labor, owned by Mohamed Ali. By creating an account or booking a job you agree to them. Electricians also agree to the Electrician Terms and the Independent Contractor Agreement.
1. What Voltora does
Voltora lets you request electrical work and matches your job with an independent, licensed electrician who has passed our verification. Electricians are independent contractors, not Voltora employees. Voltora serves all 50 U.S. states through a growing nationwide network; whether an electrician is available for a specific job depends on your ZIP code, the work and the time you choose.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app.
3. Booking, prices and payment
- You see the price for a job before you confirm it.
- If the electrician finds that the work is different from what was booked, any change in scope or price needs your approval before that extra work starts.
- Payment for the work is processed by Stripe using the card or wallet you choose. Receipts are kept with the job.
- Cancelling is free until an electrician accepts the job; after that, the cancellation fee shown in the app applies.
4. Safety
Voltora is not an emergency service. If there is fire, smoke, sparking, a downed line or anyone is in danger, leave the area and call 911 and your utility first. Give electricians safe access to the work area and accurate information about the job.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Voltora: no false bookings, harassment, attempts to avoid payment, taking jobs found on Voltora off the platform to avoid fees, or interfering with the service’s security. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. You keep ownership of photos and content you upload, and you let Voltora use them to provide the service (for example showing job photos to your electrician).
7. Problems with a job
Report a problem through the job page or by contacting us. We will work with you and the electrician to resolve disputes and may issue refunds or credits where appropriate.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Electricians are responsible for their workmanship, permits and compliance with code. To the extent the law allows, Voltora provides the platform “as is”, and Voltora’s liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid through Voltora for the job involved. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: voltoracontractlabor@gmail.com or 612-900-9752.
